T he saga of the Jason Ivler story reflects the social ill of the country...innocent lives which are lost due to uncontrolled violence and loose firearms (like the death of Renato Ebarle Jr.), the youth who are misguided because of the lack of vision and direction from their elders (like Jasen Aguilar Ivler) and the people suffering from the consequences of incompetence in government (like Jason Vivar Aguilar who was mistaken for Ivler).
It now remains to be seen if this will go the way of all other stories.... a story that temporarily raises social awareness yet as quickly as it arouses interest, it fades away into a distant memory. I hope this will not only serve as entertainment but a learning experience for all of us.
