When we talk about maternal health, we will have to talk bout the reproductive health code and I have to be candid that I oppose this. The problem with the reproductive health code is that it is premised on overpopulation. Another issue that I have is the safety of the chemical and mechanical commodities being introduced by the reproductive health code. I do not agree that government should spend more so declare contraceptives as essential medicines.

    Papakainin mo ba ang mga anak ng mga babaeng nabubutis at iniiwan ng mga nobyo nila? Hindi mo ba naiisip na paglabag sa human rights ang ginagawa mo?

    May karapatan ang isang babaeng pumili ng reproductive method na gusto niya. Hindi dapat idikta ng gobyerno kung ano ang dapat niyang gawin lalo na ang pagbawalan silang pumili ng pamamaraan ng pagpaplano ng pamilya.

    Kung hindi ka naniniwala na may problema ang bansa sa overpopulation ay hindi ka karapat-dapat na maging presidente. Lumabas ka minsan ng bahay mo, mag-ikot, magmasid ng lumawak kahit konti yang makitid mong utak.

    Makikita mong madaming namamatay na bata dahil walang perang pampagamot, walang makain, etc. Ikaw kaya ang magbuntis ng magbuntis, tignan natin kung makayanan mo manganak taon-taon. Ang pagbatikos mo sa mga contraceptives ay isang pagpapahirap sa mga kababaihan.

    @ quiapo, our country is not and never been over populated. have you tried walking on the streets of palawan, bukidnon or isabela, you will think that there is no person in the area. it is so quiet so please manila is not the philippines.

    @ jc, please not everything is about the damn contraceptions... it maybe a big mistake to give it away as it will make women an object of man's pleasure. marital affairs will boost because of the idea that their partner will not get pregnant... but still it is health not rh bill...
