Because there are too few in this country who are like Efren..
Who would do something without an exchange for salary or something..

Lahat didto alam at nakikita ang problema sa education pero iilan lang ba
ang may ginagawa..
Walang mangyayari kahit maganda pa ang sinusulat mo didto sa forum na to..
Kahit man lang mag-donate sa mga tao na may ganigawa para naman
makatulong..
Bilang isang Pilipino may obligasyon ka na tumulong sa kapwa..

Iilan nalang ba ngayon na nakakakita na may nagbigay nang ulam sa kapitbahay?
Nawawala na kasi ang Filipino values natin.. Isa na ang bayanihan..
Kaya nga nawawala ang gana ng ilang mga estudyante sa pageskwela kasi
hindi nakakagana ang mag-aral kung ang paligid mo ay ganyan din..

The problem is not the students. Contrary to the opinions stated here, I blame the problem elsewhere.

The premise is that the desire to study and learn has been diminished by modern influences like computers (internet gaming, online interaction, chat...etc...), drugs, alcohol, movies, having boyfriends/girlfriends (is this new??). Unfortunately, this begs the question why would students prefer these to studying in the first place?

IMHO, students are like audiences in a show or parishioners to a Sunday mass. The key to keeping students devoted in their studies is to have an education which is highly relevant, informative, and encourages critical thinking. That's the content on one hand. The medium (i.e. the teacher) must also be an effective messenger. He/she should not be like that boring priest who rambles on and on in endless litany not caring at all that his preachings had already put most of the churgoers to sleep.

You have an excellent, relevant and informative lessons to impart and delivered by an effective and engaging teacher or professor who interacts with his students and its guaranteed that no one will skip class.... if they can help it.

In high school I skip class not because I just love to go to the movies, hang out with the guys and gals smokin' dope. It's because I just can't stand being in a classroom for an hour or so listening to my teacher endlessly droning on and on about a subject that I'm sure she doesn't even know half about.

On the other hand we also had a teacher then who was so effective and entertaining to boot that we never skip his class even though it was at an ungodly hour just after lunch.

I'm sure most of you have the same experiences.

You can have all the lures and thrills surround a school but for as long as you have relevant education and an engaging teacher, students would stay glued in classes.

Think people think.

Marami na talaga ngayong mga bata ang napapariwala ng dahil sa mga nauusong bisyo. D na pumapasok sa klase dahil uunahin pa ang paglalaro ng computer games (dota, cs, ran, rf, etc.) Yung iba naman mas gusto pang mag-inuman at maglakwatsa kasama ang barkada kesa pumasok sa klase. Sometimes d mo rin masisi yung bata if nagkakaganito kasi yung iba, yan na yung outlet nila para ilabas yung mga problema nila. Ang mga magulang talaga eh may pinakamalaking part dito, dapat bigyan nila ng attention yung mga anak nila at subaybayan talaga pra makaiwas sa ganitong mga problema. =)

Dahil din sa kanila,, depende yan sa estudyante,, hindi masisira ang pag aaral kung ang iispin ay kung ang hindi ngayun kundi ang bukas??

Barkada- yung mga BI lang ha..

Alcoholic drinks- dapat moderate lang.. diba?

BF or GF- hindi naman kinakailangan na meron kang syota diba?? pero kung sa tingin mo ay mabuti sya at maka tutulong sa pag aaral mo ay y not?

Yan lang muna sa ngayon..nakakapagod naman ang mag type eh.. :lol:

Iwasan natin lahat ng bisyo.. tyak di masisira ang atingf edukasyon..
Melon pa isa ang mga grupo na mga raliyesta,, sila ang bag tuturo ng hindi maganda sa mga kabataan ngayun..
imbis na turuan sa kanilang edukasyon eh papapuntahin sa kalsada at sisigaw... ang dapat ay emotivate..

nakikita ng higit na mas maraming kabataan (dahil sila ang mdalas na nanu2od ng tv) ang mga requirements at mga trabahong nagiging bukas para sa atin.. minsan siguro naiisip nila bakit pa nila kelangang maging engr. kung khit AutoCAD operator ka lang, indemand ka na? Bakit ka kelngan mag doktor kung mas malaki ang chance ng mga nurse na kumita ng mas malaki sa ibng bansa? Bakit mo kelngan mag-aral ng 4 na taon sa college kung my mga call centers naman na tumatanggap sa mga highschool graduate na fluent sa English??

Minsan kasi mali ang pamamaraan ng Pamahalaan sa pagbuhay ng ating ekonomiya. At dahil naman sa media, mabilis nting nababantayan ang mga patok na bagay sa mundo. Magmula sa dmit, palabas, at maging sa trabaho.

Nasa tamang motivation lang yan. in everything that you do, kung hindi ka properly motivated, wala talagang mangyayari sa'yo. Role ng parents and ng society na magbigay ng motivation sa mga bata. ang mga mag-aaral kasi, lalo na pag bata pa, di pa yan marunong magfilter ng tama at mali, kaya tanggap lang yan ng tanggap.

It's actually a global phenomenon.. ther are a lot of destrctions now that were not present 20 even 10 years ago. My nephews and nieces would spend a lot of hours in front of their computers doing a lot of games online. Instead of reading books, they browse thru the net for information at the same time playing online games talking about concentration!

Siguro una dapat maintindihan ng estudyante kung bakit siya nag aaral,kung ano ang dahilan bakit dapat mag aral, Pangalawa dapat ang magulang ay mag pa alala ng kahalagahan ng pag aaral kung ano ang mangyayari kung ang tao ay walang natapos. Dapat mag karon ng time table sa lahat ng gawain, para di makaligta-an ang pag aaral, computers are not bad naman sa pag aaral basta gamitin ng maayos at sapat.

Maraming factors kung bakit nasissira ang pag-aaral ng mga estudyante ngayon.Una,dahil sa computers,mas feel nila ang mag-online games kaysa magbasa ng libro at makinig sa guro.Ikalawa ang barkada.yaya dito yaya doon.Ikatlo ang bisyo na kung saan ito ang mas malalang dahilan kung bakit napapabayaan nag pag-aaral.
